If you’re new to San Diego, July 4th isn’t just about fireworks and patriotism — it’s also the annual migration of THOUSANDS of cans, cups, plastic forks, paper plates, and mysterious beach debris that absolutely did not exist the day before. It’s like nature’s version of Black Friday, but for trash.

And guess what? We’re the heroes who clean it up. And then… we get coffee. Because that’s what we do at Après.
