For Earth Day, 2024, Après Surf Club teamed up with 

 to cleanup Tourmaline and Pacific Beach, in San Diego. For about two hours, volunteers scoured the beach for trash, and then sorted that trash into the correct categories to dispose of properly.  All CRV cans and bottles were sold back to the state and any profit made was used to buy books for local children.
